We love padel for its dynamic nature and the satisfaction that you can get after the first game
It’s the kind of game that you can easily teach a child and their grandparents, and play together as a family without feeling a large difference, because it’s all about technique and dynamics, not about the hit strength
Padel has pretty simple rules, which our coaches can explain in detail during your very first session
Imagine picking up a racket for the first time half an hour ago and now you are already playing your first match and enjoying the game to the fullest
Padel basics
Court
Equipment
Padel is played simultaneously by 4 players (two on two). Each team plays on its half of the court, that is separated by a net.
The padel court size is typically 20m x 10m. It is surrounded by transparent walls of durable glass, preventing the ball from flying out.
Padel rackets and balls are smaller than tennis ones. The padel racket does not have strings, instead, it has a special solid surface.
Players
The goal of the game is to score more points than the opposing team
Just like in tennis, in padel there are 3 sets of 6 games each. To win a game, the team must win 2 out of 3 sets.
Read the full rules of the game here, or come to a training session where our coaches will gladly to explain them to you.
A team gets 15 for one point, 30 for two points, 40 for three points. For two infringements (touching the ball with a body part, hitting the ball into the net, etc.) the opponent team gets one point.
Rules for awarding game points:
That’s what makes padel so great, because it allows you to play each serve longer than in tennis.
You can hit the ball against the wall an infinite number of times
the ball bounces twice
the ball touches one of the opponents
the ball hits the wall or fence before crossing the net or landing on the opponent’s half of the court
A team scores a point in case:
